We aspire to offer a bright hope for our pupils. A bright hope for their present, a bright hope for their future, a bright hope for the country they will one day lead and a bright hope for their eternity. This is our mission. This mission is founded upon a set of values that can be summarised under four key and related spheres: Leading, Brightening, Safety and Creativity.
Leading There is nothing more valuable than for children to treasure and know their Creator personally, by trusting in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. We will hold this up as of utmost importance. Overflowing from this, we pray that all children will follow in the footsteps of their Lord and become servant-leaders. | Brightening We value the futures of children. We long for children to wake up every day excited about the day ahead. We want them to look forward to their future academic and working lives and have hope that they can achieve their dreams and contribute to making the future of this country a brighter one. Ultimately, we long for every child to have an eternal hope of a future with their Creator. |
Safety There is no way to brighten a child’s future without giving them safety and security. Our aim is to offer the children in our care a place to learn that is free from emotional and physical abuse. This does not mean we wish to remove all challenges, rather we long for children to feel safe enough to embrace and tackle any challenges they might face and so to learn from their experiences. | Creativity Within this safe environment, free from fear of abuse, these children will be able to express their God-given creativity. This will enable them to explore, challenge, innovate and learn. Our aim is that they will grow in confidence so as to be able to express their feelings, attempt new ideas and speak out, both with and in front of their peers. |
